Creating an artworkmeans giving a visible form to a concept, then experiencing the result of your work firsthand while discussing and having fun with your teammates. It’s incredible how even the least “poetic” people can be creative when placed in the right stimulating environment!

Why do you need Team Building?

A cohesive team works more efficiently. Team-building activities help identify and solve communication and collaboration issues that slow down daily work.
Team-building reinforces trust and relationships, both among employees and with supervisors. An increase in mutual trust boosts motivation to achieve company goals. Employees who feel appreciated are more likely to be satisfied with their jobs and to engage actively in company activities.

Why Creative Team Building?

A great way to embody and promote your company’s values is by realizing them in an artwork like a painting, pixel art, or a sculpture made from recycled materials.
Creativity and imagination come together with other important aspects like teamwork, communication, collaboration, and especially group motivation.
Art is a natural stress reliever. When we focus on an artistic task, we use parts of our brain that often go unused during a normal workday. This allows the more active parts of the brain to rest. So after the art activity, we return to work more relaxed and with renewed energy.

Creative team-building activities enhance group dynamics within the company. In a creative and informal setting people naturally learn more about their colleagues, discovering strengths and areas for improvement, thus fostering greater synergy within the team, which then carries over to the workplace.
Artistic or creative team-building activities encourage individuals to take risks and experiment: at worst, they might make a mess! Encouraging thinking outside the box and exploring new ideas, shapes, colors, and forms can lead to more innovative solutions and the incorporation of diverse perspectives.

So team building with brushes, spatulas, and spray paint promotes an environment of positivity, improves collaboration among members of the team, leads to effective communication, increases mutual trust, and creates a sense of belonging. All this transforms into higher productivity, stronger team identity, employee satisfaction, and achieving company goals!

What can I do for your team?

These experiential and creative formats can easily guide the team members to understand company values and culture, promoting key elements for your team’s success.
Art workshops where team members can explore various art forms, from traditional ones like painting, sculpture, and drawing to more innovative approaches like spray painting, murals and graffiti. These workshops foster creativity, collaboration, and communication among participants, who find themselves doing something far removed from their daily routine but soon discover it to be incredibly enjoyable!

Collective artwork. The team will be asked to collaborate on creating a collective piece of art. For example, they could paint a mural, create a sculpture, or a painting. This encourages teamwork, negotiation, and the ability to work together for a common goal… and in the end, the artwork can be displayed in the office! It becomes a source of pride, fun, and conversation for a long, long time!
Sculpture building with unusual or recycled materials. Each group can use the provided recycled materials (or even bring them from home) to create a unique sculpture. This activity stimulates creativity, unconventional thinking, and raises awareness about transforming waste into art!

Finger and hand painting. Want to get a little messier? Dipping hands into paint is like diving into your inner child… We can organize a painting session where participants use only their fingers and hands instead of brushes. This activity encourages playfulness, spontaneity, and the liberation of artistic expression.
Sensory exploration. Organize an artistic experience that involves the senses. For example, we could arrange a blind painting session where participants rely solely on touch and hearing to create their artworks. This activity stimulates sensory awareness, intuition, and the exploration of hidden artistic potential.

How do I do it?

Behind the art, fun, and informality there is plenty of preparation and planning. Team-building activities are based on emotional intelligence, psychology, and art therapy combined with my experience in project management and teaching art for adults and children.

Will it get messy? I believe it can be a great experience, but I also take all necessary precautions to prevent it!
